We are an independent, mobile veterinary ophthalmology service, led by EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology, John Burgess. We travel to veterinary practices across the South East of England to diagnose and treat patients with complex ocular disorders. We also assist veterinarians and pet owners across the globe through our online telemedicine service and continuing education programs. Meet The Team
John Burgess
BVSc DipECVO MRCVS
John grew up in Zimbabwe and attended the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where he obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree in 2017. He then moved to the UK where he underwent further training, consisting of a rotating internship at a busy referral hospital and a three-year residency training program in Veterinary Ophthalmology. John became a European Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2024. Outside of work, John enjoys a variety of sports and spending time with his growing family.
